Megan and I have decided to combine the two blogs we (ok, mostly I) were running. But I found that I was writing about very personal stuff here, and that was the stuff people read and commented on. Besides, my wife really likes the decor on this blog. Serene and not Herd’s logo has become a family emblem of sorts, we even have matching shirts.

So a couple things will change: You’ll see more family updates here, as the old family page will point readers here. I’ll get Megan set up with an authorship account so she will hopefully be making posts as well. And the family blog will become a more static portal page.

I’ll still wax philosophical when the mood hits, and I’ll try to get back into the habit of regular postings. In fact, I’m gonna backdate a new post right now, so this update is at the top for a while, but please scroll down and read on.
