Two months ago, I would have told you that blogs were boring, longwinded, and narcissistic. Now, here I am writing my own. Why, you ask?

Because, I would say, my thoughts of late have been mostly about parenting, simplifying life, and making time for the things that really matter. Ideas from other blogs, and my thoughts about them. Exciting gadgets that make life easier, rather than more complex. Inspiration from my own toddler. And conversations with my wife.

I am a dad, a new one at that. And my life has been anything but simple. All the more reason to resist the complexity, the noise, and the distractions.

I hope that this will become a dialogue, a conversation amongst men and women, husbands and fathers, wives and mothers. So please, feel free to comment, argue politely, share your experiences and learn with me.

It takes a little effort to have a family that is serene, not herd.
