My little socialite

Social activity and peer play is very important for young minds. But in our fast-paced lives, and sprawling suburbias, it can be tough to make lasting friendships before school age. I came across a great idea today on Flickr (a great site in it’s own right) to help parents help their kids spend time together. Hand one of these over when your child make a friend at the playground, swim class, or where-ever:

There have been several occasions where these would have been very useful. I met an involved and caring dad at the mall playground; his daughter and my son were having a blast together.

Use discretion of course. Handing out your personal information to strangers can have negative consequences. For safety’s sake, you may choose to leave out your home address or phone number.

I’m running out to Staples to pick up a pack of Avery Business Card paper. MS Word has templates for most Avery products.
