It’s my birthday, y’all!

Which also means it’s fall, and even in Southern Arizona, the air is getting crisp and cool, the leaves on the broadleaf trees are turning colors, and the sun is setting sooner. This is my favorite time of year. Maybe because of birthday parties as a kid, because of Halloween and Thanksgiving. But mostly, it is the weather and changes that come at this time of year.

I just love the crunch of leaves, and the displays of color, the chill in the morning air, and wonderful breezes through the trees.

Anyway, so it’s my birthday. I’m a year older, but not dreadfully. Life is pretty good these days. On the right path for sure. I am blessed with a wonderful wife, a great kid, and good friends online and nearby that care about my little herd. I couldn’t ask for a better birthday gift.
